Parker Rose Design recently had the privilege of staging a home rich with history and meaningful character. Tom Petty’s Malibu estate, listed for $19 million, represents a rare piece of living history and architectural beauty. Our goal for this luxury project was to honor the musician’s legacy while highlighting the home’s striking Spanish Revival design.

Embracing Spanish Revival Architecture

 

The estate’s architecture is a beautiful example of Spanish Revival, a style known for its arched doorways, stucco walls, and red-tiled roofs. To complement these classic features, we chose a soft transitional design style, blending traditional elements with contemporary touches. This approach highlights the home’s vintage sconces, wrought iron accents, and unique character while offering a fresh perspective.

A Relaxed, Welcoming Atmosphere

 
Tom Petty’s music often conveyed warmth and comfort, and we aimed to reflect that same inviting spirit through our staging. We focused on creating a relaxed atmosphere where buyers could imagine gatherings with family and friends in this timeless home. Soft oatmeal and linen upholstery added a classic foundation, while warm walnut accents brought depth and richness to every space.

Seamless Flow from Outdoors to Indoors

Our design draws the eye naturally from the tranquil outdoor spaces into the living areas, creating a harmonious connection between the indoor and outdoor environments. This flow is essential in showcasing a home that embodies warmth, laughter, and the joy of shared moments.
